Alrite, today is Thaipusam and guess what? We are not going. Dad has got photography. Oh well, it's not a loss. I despise the unruly crowds and the insane practices. Pretty disturbing. Hmm, nothing much has happened lately. I went to work at UWCSEA on Wednesday and Thursday. Had fun working with Mrs Mandy Whitehouse. Hopefully I get called back there since I don't have a fixed job. Amirah got the job she wanted. Congrats to her. Sharanya got into TJC Science stream. However she does not qualify for the hybrid course, so she's going into Arts. That is the outcome of a few days' argument. So far.
Gere came to visit yesterday. It was so nice of him to come visit after school, in that state. His injuries from that bike accident have healed. Though he's distraught that his bike was scraped. ): He's taking his car license now, since his mother would go berserk if he asked for another bike. He told me to take care, given my condition lately. He was also privvy to the ongoing courses' debate in my house. He found it hilarious and said both my sister and I would make good lawyers. Hahah! He wants to have a family outing soon, to improve the family bond. I quite agree with him. I said I'll try my best to arrange one. It's not easy to arrange for an outing on a day where everyone is free. Given the size of my family, that's quite a challenge. Let's see how it goes. His parents came to pick him up and Ram mama said I've lost a lot of weight. Right! Mother had to add that my ribcages can be seen, and father mentioned my diet. Geez. Mani athai wants me to eat a lot and she said she'll come by another day to see me. She's sweet. (: They rushed back cos they were late for a Muslim wedding which they thought was in Khalsa when in fact, it was held somewhere near Lakeside. Near their home after all. Hahahah. Funny people. :P
The near-constant pain is not helping the frustration I'm feeling. I'm also having a slight fever now. Sighs. Next Wednesday, 4pm. I'm crossing my fingers. Well, I guess that's it for today. Shall update soon.
